Float glass is the core product from which most adaptations are available. Its versatility makes it the most common type. It can be toughed (a heating process) to strength it which then changes is usage, it is used to form safety glass, and can be part of the IUG units for energy efficiency. Float glass also comes in a range of colours and textures from Clear, Grey (tinted) to patterned.
